Fear my crappy linework

No, I purposely refused to use the ruler, just to see if the concept really is stronger than the artwork itself.

So this is my made up part of Sai's quest to understanding 'bonds'. Buterflies. Hope. Yeah.

The kanji at the bottom right corner of the comic says hope (just in case).

Okay, so Sai finds Sakura and Naruto mourning over Sasuke (read the manga) and remembers a book he read about keeping his friends happy. So he made butterflies pop out of nowhere to bring his friends hope. Simple, right?

Two flaws that I realized after making this up, were how would he know that butterflies represented hope if he can't feel anything, and why would Naruto and Sakura be cheered up by ink butterflies (Personally, I would just kill one if I were depressed about someone, right)?? Ugh, too confusing.

Before my brain hurts....

P.S.S. I love drawing this style. I copied it from the third Naruto Shippuden ending with Sai and his picturebook. So cute! >_<
